Herriman High School “No Cold Kids” Coat Drive is Huge Success

Picture of coats collectedSome Herriman High School business and marketing, (DECA and FBLA) students were hoping to use the skills they are learning in the classroom to fill a huge need right now – providing warm winter coats for students and families who have fallen on hard times during the pandemic.

Their hopes came true in a very big way. With the help of Scheels and the community, HHS students managed to collect more than 1,000 coats in their “No Cold Kids” coat drive. That exceeded their goal of collecting 800 coats. The coats will go to Principal’s Pantries throughout Jordan School District, sending warmth and love to students who need just a little help, especially over the cold winter months.

Thanks to these amazing Herriman High School students, Scheels and community members for caring about those in need among us. Congratulations on a very successful service project!
