More than 2000 Jordan School District families and community members gathered last week at JATC South for the Fall Family Fair. The fair was a chance for the District and community partners to connect students and their parents with resources they might not otherwise have found.
The fair featured 35 different departments in Jordan School District. Nurses provided health screenings, while math, literacy, gifted and talented, STEM, and digital learning teacher specialists oversaw academic activities and shared helpful learning strategies. In addition, Jordan District Health and Wellness Team and Health Services shared their knowledge and provided community resources for families. Other partners included the Salt Lake County Library, gang prevention specialists, and community outreach groups.
This year’s Fall Family Fair was a huge success thanks to all the hard work for Jordan School District employees and community partners. We also want to recognize the hard work put in by the Language & Cultures Services Department for organizing this excellent resource for everyone in our community.
Thanks to everyone who participated in this great event!
