Next week Jordan School District will be hosting a special parent event to address bullying and support our prevention efforts. Dr. Melissa Lopez-Larson will be speaking directly to parents in a virtual seminar on Tuesday, May 3, from 7-8 p.m.
Dr. Lopez-Larson is an adult, child and adolescent psychiatrist and an expert on bullying prevention. She received her M.D. from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine and her psychiatry training from Harvard Medical School. She now lives locally in Utah.
The seminar will allow parents to ask questions anonymously.
