Students stand with Superintendent Godfrey at the Bees StadiumIt was a night to remember under the lights at the Salt Lake Bees baseball game. Several Jordan School District students and their peer tutors joined Superintendent Anthony Godfrey in throwing the first pitches of the game.

Mia Jackman, a 9th grade student at Mountain Creek Middle School, was first up with a spectacular pitch. Mia participates in Utah Special Olympics’ Unified Sports and Unified Music.

Jaymi Bonner, a 9th grade student at Mountain Creek Middle School, was up next with another amazing pitch. Jaymi also participates in Utah Special Olympics’ Unified Sports and Unified Music.

Mia and Jaymi were joined by their peer tutors Griffen England and Emerson Morphy.

Finally, Superintendent Anthony Godfrey took the mound throwing a pitch that landed perfectly in the catcher’s glove.

Thanks to Mia, Jaymi, Griffen and Emerson for making the District proud along with Superintendent Godfrey during a fun night at the ballpark!
