The Jordan School District Board of Education is proposing a tax increase for teacher pay. A Truth in Taxation hearing will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. at West Jordan High School. The tax amount will decrease by approximately five dollars on an average home, valued at $582,000.
