Bingham High School Chinese DLI Program Provides Students with an Immersive Experience in the Rich Traditions of Chinese New Year

They are working hard and having fun in the Chinese Dual Language Immersion and World Language programs at Bingham High School. Recently, students participated in and performed for Chinese New Year celebrations at various locations, including South Jordan City Hall and Herriman High School.
Bingham High also hosted a special Lunar New Year assembly featuring a performance by the Anping Sword Lion Dance team from Taiwan. There were many other engaging activities such as dragon dance demonstrations and Chinese calligraphy sessions where students learned to write Lunar New Year greeting words.
Congratulations to the Bingham High DLI and World Language team for igniting enthusiasm among students to progress to the next learning level in Chinese studies. Keep up the great work!
