This week, Jordan School District would like to #ThankACoach at each of our six UHSAA Member High Schools for the amazing work they do. A great coach is about more than just winning games. They teach skills, build character, and grow community in their schools. Today, we recognize Bingham High School cross country, wrestling, and track coach Robby Duncan.

Here is what Bingham High had to say about Coach Duncan.

“Coach Duncan began his coaching career in 1997 as an assistant, taking on an incredible load of three sports: cross country, wrestling, and indoor/outdoor track. Over the years, his dedication and leadership have shaped the lives of countless student-athletes. Under his guidance, athletes have achieved remarkable success, including four individual state championships, five team state titles, and even a national championship in 1999.

But Coach Duncan’s impact extends far beyond the playing field. As an English teacher, he continues to inspire and challenge students to excel academically, helping them grow as learners and individuals.

While his accomplishments as a coach and educator are impressive, what truly sets Coach Duncan apart is the person he is. Respected by students, athletes, and colleagues alike, he is admired not just for his knowledge and skill but for his character, humility, and the genuine care he shows to everyone around him.”

Thank you, Coach Duncan for all you do for the students at Bingham High!
