Staff at South Valley School kicked off the Thanksgiving holiday with a party that brought joy and gratitude to students and staff alike. Alongside the beloved annual turkey bowling games, the party showcased the incredible efforts of students who collected over 2,000 food items for the Principal Pantry, helping fellow students in need.
To celebrate their accomplishment, each class had a student throw a whipped cream pie at a staff member as a reward for all their hard work. Students burst out in laughter as whipped cream flew through the air, creating many memorable moments.
The gymnasium was transformed into a vibrant Thanksgiving-themed bowling alley, complete with inflatable turkeys and music from a DJ. Students held signs encouraging bowlers to get strikes and spares, while staff members danced in turkey-themed costumes and hats.
Together, staff created not just fun memories, but a sense of community and belonging. Nice work to everyone who helped bring joy to the students of South Valley School this holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving!
