April 23 Board Meeting Update

You are invited to a meeting of the Board of Education of Jordan School District on Tuesday, April 23 at the JATC South Campus, 12723 S. Park Avenue, Riverton, Utah. The study session begins at 4 p.m. The Regular Board Meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Patrons may view the general session online at boardmeeting.jordandistrict.org.

2025-26 Calendar Option Survey

Jordan School District is seeking your input as we work to establish school calendars for the 2025-26 school year. Three calendar options have been created for the 2025-26 school year and we are inviting parents, students, and employee groups to participate in a survey which will provide us valuable feedback before a final calendar is approved by the Board of Education.

School calendars in the District are developed by a committee of parents, teachers, education support professionals, and administrators.

Please visit the link below to review and rate each of the 2025-26 calendar options. The survey link will be active until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

El Distrito Escolar de Jordan busca su opinión mientras trabajamos para establecer calendarios escolares para el año escolar 2025-26. Se han creado tres opciones de calendario para el año escolar 2025-26 y estamos invitando a padres, estudiantes y grupos de empleados a participar en una encuesta que nos brindará comentarios valiosos antes de que la Junta de Educación apruebe un calendario final.

Los calendarios escolares del Distrito son desarrollados por un comité de padres, maestros, profesionales de apoyo educativo y administradores.

Superintendent Receives Big Surprise from Board of Education, Welding and Collision Repair Students

At the Feb. 27 Board Meeting, Superintendent Anthony Godfrey thanked the Board of Education, Blair Jensen and his welding students, along with Nathan Shields and his collision repair students for the new signs for the Board room. The signs included his vision, “Be Curious, Be Intentional, Be United.” The Superintendent said it was a huge surprise to see the amazing work done by welding and collision repair students and the decorations are very much appreciated.

2024-25 School Choice Permit Window Open

The school choice open enrollment (permit) window for the 2024-25 school year is now open.  Students currently attending on a school choice permit will NOT need to reapply for a permit if they are remaining at the same school for the 2024-25 school year. Students who desire to move schools or any student currently on the waitlist without a permit must reapply to be considered for a 2024-25 permit.

La ventana de inscripción abierta (permiso) de elección de escuela para el año escolar 2024-25 ya está abierta. Los estudiantes que actualmente asisten con un permiso de elección de escuela NO necesitarán volver a solicitar un permiso si permanecerán en la misma escuela para el año escolar 2024-25. Los estudiantes que deseen mudarse de escuela o cualquier estudiante que se encuentre actualmente en la lista de espera sin un permiso deben volver a presentar una solicitud para ser considerados para un permiso 2024-25.

Strategic Planning Participation Survey for Employees, Parents & Students

Strategic Planning Participation Survey WebsiteWe are excited to partner with parents and community members to make Jordan School District the very best it can be for the families and students we serve. As we begin work on updating the District’s comprehensive strategic plan for the future, we invite you to be a part of the process.

The strategic planning process will help define our vision and prioritize our resources. We are committed to developing a plan that is inclusive of the strengths, hopes, beliefs, and values of our community. 

Please take a moment to share your thoughts and experiences through the survey below, which should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Additionally, students in grades 7-12 will have the opportunity to take the survey at their school buildings.
