The Beverley Taylor Sorenson (BTS) program recently held an open house for the Utah Legislature and community leaders at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art in Salt Lake City. One of the highlights during the evening was a captivating performance by students from Miss Beesley’s class at Eastlake Elementary School. The students showcased their dance skills, taught by Eastlake’s BTS educator, Ciara Brady. BTS artwork was also on display while students from other schools across the state showcased dance and drama performances.
The open house celebrated the incredible integration of various art forms with core academic content. Great job, Eastlake students and educators, for an excellent performance!
