A student stands under a balloon archIt was a magical night to remember as Kauri Sue Hamilton School special needs students gathered for the experience of a lifetime. Peer leaders from Riverton High School organized a springtime prom with lights, decorations, a DJ, dancing, pictures and refreshments for the special needs students to enjoy. The theme of the night was “Out of this World,” and to make the evening even more memorable, all Kauri Sue graduates were invited to attend. The graduates also had the chance to get all dressed up and dance to their hearts content.

Thanks to everyone involved for making this amazing night so wonderful for students.

A Week Dedicated to Honoring Educators

As we continue to honor and say thanks to amazing teachers during this “Teacher Appreciation Week,” we have a special video tribute to some of the very best.

Teachers throughout Jordan School District were recently surprised by members of the Jordan Education Foundation with “Educator of the Year” awards. We went along to document the emotions and pride on the part of educators involved.
