South Valley School Fall Dance is Filled with Fun, Music, and Making Magical Memories

There was plenty of Hawaiian style shirts, other tropical attire, flowers, and lots of fun at South Valley School’s fall 2025 dance with a luau theme. Current and former students and alumni attended the dance and they were treated to delicious pastries and infused water.

The South Valley staff worked really hard preparing decorations, a photo booth, snack station and of course, making sure everyone could delight in dancing the night away with their favorite students and alumni.

The tropical photo booth was a big hit and allowed everyone to take home a little bit of paradise in the form of pictures and magical memories to last a lifetime.

South Valley Students Receive VIP Treatment Getting Ready for Luau-Themed Fall Dance

It is going to be an exciting evening for South Valley students as they enjoy a luau-themed fall dance complete with a tropical night of fun, music, food, volleyball, island vibes, and lots of beachy fun.

Prior to the dance, students got the VIP treatment from Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design. They had their hair styled in trendy and fashionable looks; others received a quick cut from the Taylor Andrews team. Then there were nails to be painted and makeup applied to match the awesome outfits students will be wearing.

Thank you to Taylor Andrews for taking care of these amazing students. We wish everyone at South Valley a night full of magic and memories!

There were hugs, smiles, and a few tears – from both parents and children – as elementary and middle schools from across Jordan School District opened their doors for the first day of the 2025-26 school year.

From the seniors who comprise the soon-to-be class of 2026 to the kindergartners who are embarking on their first day on the way to becoming the class of 2038, we hope every one of the over 57,000 students in each of Jordan District’s 68 schools has an incredible school year!

Celebrating Students Back for the 2025-26 School Year!

We are so excited to welcome students back for the 2025-26 school year. Jordan School District high school students were greeted with heartfelt cheers, high fives, big smiles, and fist bumps as they made their way to the first day of classes.

It was orientation day for 7th grade students at our middle schools. We are excited to support them in their transition from elementary school and hoping they find success in their new academic adventures.

Welcome back students, teachers, and staff! Have the best year ever.
