Elementary School Special Education Students Compete in Fun Olympics-Style Sports Day

It was an exciting and competitive day for some elementary school special education students, along with their peers and it all started with a parade of athletes. Several hundred students with and without disabilities competed side-by-side in a fun Olympics-style Sports Day, which is part of the Unified Sports program in Jordan School District.

There was also a podium where students were awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals for their participation in the track and field events. It was a day of building friendships, understanding and inclusion among all students.

Thanks to everyone involved for making this an amazing event for our students!
