Mountain Shadows Faculty Take to the Holiday Stage to the Delight of Students and Staff

They have been secretly rehearsing their roles after school for months, preparing for a production of epic proportions and for some it was their first time on stage in a musical. On Wednesday, the faculty at Mountain Shadows Elementary School performed Elf Jr. the Musical. It was a big surprise for students who had no idea what was about to happen and they were delighted. It was a wonderful, fun-filled performance with some newly discovered talent; teachers and staff singing their hearts out.

We applaud the Mountain Shadows Elementary School faculty and staff for their dedication to students and making happy holiday memories that will last a lifetime.

Mountain Ridge High School Chinese Bridge Students Shine at BYU Business Language Competition!

Emily Dow, Maya Flores, and Miles Garber, students in Mountain Ridge High School’s Chinese Bridge class, demonstrated their exceptional talent for the Chinese language at the 2023 High School Business Language Competition. They were guided by their advisor Ms. Wei, and their hard work earned them second place in the State among Chinese high school teams.

Even though they only had one week to prepare, the talented students withstood the pressure and achieved the impressive second place title. They had to develop a marketing plan and a corresponding report in Chinese for the competition. This was an important milestone as the Chinese students ventured beyond language and culture and showed commendable courage by taking on new tasks and challenges.

Congratulations to Emily, Maya, and Miles, for your outstanding achievements!
