The Utah State Board of Education recognized Joel P. Jensen Middle School as a “Notable Middle School” in Utah. The recognition is for their work in supporting multilanguage learners who achieved individual growth in 2020. Principal Bryan Leggat said he is proud of his teachers, staff, English language learners (ELL) aids, counselors, support staff, and administration at the school who helped the students achieve success. Superintendent Anthony Godfrey and Administrator of Schools Cody Curtis presented the school’s administration with the award.
