Superintendent Godfrey Celebrates Educators Throughout Jordan School District

It is National Teacher Appreciation Week, a time to reflect on the hard work, dedication, and endless hours educators devote to students in Jordan District schools.

Recently, Superintendent Godfrey visited every one of our 68 schools to celebrate teachers and join the Jordan Education Foundation in recognizing “Outstanding Educators of the Year.”

We invite you to watch this video honoring outstanding educators.

Night of Fun, Laughter, Pies in the Face, and Community Support at Aspen Elementary

Aspen Elementary Fun RunIt was a night to remember at Aspen Elementary School as everyone came together to have some fun and support a good cause. The PTA fundraiser “Color Run” was a huge success. Families and others in the Aspen Elementary School community showed up and managed to raise more than $17,000 for the PTA.

Principal Suzie Williams was a good sport, sitting down to get slimed along with several teachers  who had pie thrown in their faces. Even the fire department participated in the fun and everyone had a great time!

Congratulations to everyone involved in supporting the Aspen Elementary School PTA.

Around the World at Westvale Elementary School for Art Night + STEM

Westvale Art Night + STEM NightStudents and their parents were treated to a trip around the world at Westvale Elementary School and they had a great time. It was part of the school’s annual Art Night + STEM or “STEAM Around the World.” There was beautiful student artwork on display for everyone to enjoy along with STEM activities, even dinner, dessert, and prizes all representing different countries and places around the world.

Thanks to the teachers and staff for giving students and their families a fun night to remember with a trip around the Westvale world!
