Eastlake Students Have Some Fun after Successful Cereal Drive for Families in Need

Eastlake Students Collect food for the Utah Food Bank Boxes of cereal lined every single hallway at Eastlake Elementary School after students completed a really successful cereal drive to benefit the Utah Food Bank. The students were all in on the project and managed to collect 1176 boxes of cereal, that is 2,500 pounds worth of cereal!

As a prize for completing such a successful holiday drive, the cereal boxes were lined up in every hallway, upstairs and downstairs throughout the school. Then students watched as Principal Kristie Howe toppled one box in the lineup, starting a domino effect of falling boxes through the entire school. Students were thrilled and cheered as one-by-one the boxes fell like dominos.

Congratulations Eastlake Elementary for your giving spirit this holiday season.
